Combined Road & Traffic Services Ltd and Traffic Signs NZ Ltd provides road maintenance contracting services as well as road delineation signage and traffic management hardware.

Neighbourhood Support Taupō are a group of people with a common goal: keeping Taupō neighbourhoods safe, resilient and connected. 

With almost 4,000 households registered, membership is spread across both urban and rural Taupō areas. They are in the process of upgrading their street signs in areas where groups are active, run a Facebook page to support the local community, and send weekly and monthly emails to members which include local crime reports, information about keeping safe and how to get help with any neighbourhood issues.  

BFA assists the Taupō Neighbourhood support committee with reviewing their yearly financial report which is then filed with the Charities Services.

Taupo Community Childcare Trust runs Taupo Kids Community childcare centre for 45 kids of mixed age – the only mixed age childcare centre in Taupo. They provide an environment that allows for discovery and exploration each day - with a massive natural outdoor space and a cosy warm indoor environment.

“We find Sarah and BFA incredible. Sarah is fantastic and makes my life easier. I can email her with a query or question, and she’ll get back to me quickly. We feel like she’s really invested in our business and in seeing us do well. Te Whare Oranga Wairua - Taupō (Maori Women’s Refuge) provide a wrap-around service for those experiencing family violence. Along with providing a safe house for women and kids experiencing family violence, they also work within the community with all members of a family experiencing family violence – women, men and children. They provide support and advocacy services, assist with safety plans, run family violence education programmes, offer counselling services and referrals to other providers such as lawyers and WINZ.  

They’ve been a client of BFA for 4 years and initially it was just producing annual financial accounts. Over time this relationship has evolved and BFA have supported Te Whare Oranga Wairua in other areas. BFA have helped to develop new processes, systems and training so things are more efficient and cohesive. They also developed a financial report for the Board, that was tailored to the information they need, which has been very helpful for Board members.
